and MicroMV models
record in total digital quality on digital tape.

Hi-8 and
Digital 8 models are a step down from mini-DV. They are still good
for the average consumer.

VHS-C models
are the most economical and also very popular. They offer a
compact size camcorder and you can still use the tape in a
regular VHS player!
