What is a MultiSystem TV? |
| World wide there are 3 video standards: PAL, SECAM and NTSC. A MultiSystem TV is a TV that can support more than one of these video systems. MultiSystem TVs are very versatile in that they allow you to view broadcasts and movies of various World Wide formats (PAL, NTSC and SECAM). A Multi-System TV is perfect for people that travel allot or want to view movies relatives are sending from another country. For example, to view VHS tapes from Italy (PAL) you need a MultiSystem TV and also a MultiSystem VCR. Then you can play that PAL formatted tape from Italy.
